2025 Board Elections – Voter Registration
Register to vote in the 2025 RDG Board Elections!
How the Voting Works
- Any member who is part of a Recovery Dharma sangha is eligible to vote
- Each person who registers will be entered into our ElectionBuddy voter list
- Each registered voter will receive an electronic ballot by email on May 1, 2025
- Votes must be cast within a 7 day period ending on May 8, 2025
- Each voter can choose up to 8 candidates on their ballot.
- The 8 candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected to the open Board seats.
- No one will be able to see the results until after the election has closed.
- The Election Committee will contact candidates receiving the highest number of votes to confirm their acceptance. After all seats have been confirmed, the Election Committee will announce the results officially via email and on the RDG website.
About Recovery Dharma Global
The non-profit, Recovery Dharma Global, is committed to taking concrete actions to support the inclusion of all members of the global sangha. This sangha elects board members who serve as volunteers for the organization. In addition to the legal duties of a nonprofit board, and the organization’s core intentions, the board’s responsibilities include the following four tasks:
- Develop, publish, and distribute recovery-oriented material
- Maintain a listing of Recovery Dharma meetings and communities
- Provide support for social media communication, websites, and other online collaboration.
- Coordinate and support regional and global conferences, and training opportunities
