Dear Sangha –
In the spirit of many communities all over the globe, the Conference Committee is redirecting its energy to planning an online 2020 Recovery Dharma Sangha Summit Conference. We hope to have this online version during the same weekend as we had planned the conference in Salt Lake City, Utah – July 31-August 2. While it in no way can replace the opportunities offered by physical proximity, we hope to offer the community something truly unique and wonderful!
The Conference Committee is making this change in direction for several reasons. Our scheduled venue, the Salt Lake City Library, has cancelled all events through September 1. Had that not happened, the likelihood of having to, at a minimum, postpone or reschedule the in-person conference was becoming increasingly certain as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupts our lives.
All existing registration payments will be refunded. A special note of thanks to all those in the Salt Lake Sangha who were preparing to welcome the Recovery Dharma community.
Stay tuned for announcements and news regarding the online conference! We are a resilient community, and we will adapt and persevere!
