If you’ve been asked to provide proof of attendance, please understand that Recovery Dharma is not affiliated with the court system — we are not required to sign attendance verification forms. Each group may decide whether or not it will sign attendance verification forms. You may want to arrive at a meeting a few minutes early and ask if the facilitator will sign your attendance verification form at the end of the meeting. If it is an online meeting, send a direct message to the facilitator to inquire about whether they will sign your attendance verification form or provide you with the information you need to show you were present. In the interest of confidentiality, the facilitator signing your attendance verification form may also elect to only sign their first name or their initials.
